TCI Remote is designed to function strictly as a remote control interface between your Android device and your own private Software Defined Radio (SDR) backend (e.g., Thetis via the TCI Remote Compactor). We do not have servers that monitor your activity, and we do not track your usage of the App.
The App requires internet and local network permissions solely to establish a direct WebSocket connection to the IP address or URL that you explicitly configure. All data (audio streams, IQ data, and control commands) flows directly between your device and your configured radio host.
The App requires microphone permissions to allow you to transmit voice audio (PTT) to your SDR. This audio is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere other than your direct, private connection to your radio hardware.
The App does not use any third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising frameworks. It is completely ad-free and privacy-respecting.
